OnePlus has been coming up with a lot of cool tech features in recent times. Their latest upcoming release of Oneplus 7T has everyone guessing the specs. The company has come out and revealed a very interesting feature that can be found in their new upcoming model. Pete Lau, the CEO of Oneplus, has recently announced via Twitter that the fast charging capabilities for the latest OnePlus 7T are being brought on using Warp Charge 30T.  The latest model will feature a triple camera with the primary lens being a 48-megapixel one. It will also feature a 16-megapixel ultra-wide lens and an 8-megapixel telephoto lens. OnePlus 7T will come with a 6.67-inch Quad HD+ display.

So what does the fast charging entail? How much of a difference is this going to make? Well, this new technology is supposedly powerful enough to charge the phone to full battery in 1 hour and 23 minutes. This will be a game-changer in the tech world. Pete Lau has also revealed that in terms of percentages, the Warp Charge 30T will enable charging at a 23% faster rate. This holds true even if the phone is being used during the charging period. During the testing phase, it was seen that the phone does not overheat even if games are being played on it during the charging session.

A display this smooth deserves charging this fast.

The reason why the phone does not overheat is due to the fact that the technology of fast charging is kept inside the Warp Charging brick. The power management is done inside the brick rather than inside the phone. This helps the phone avoid overheating issues. The Warp Charge 30T works by giving out 6A at a voltage of 5V to attain the required 30W.

Most other phones have fast charging capabilities by increasing their voltage. This leads to issues with overheating. Due to not relying on the high voltage for fast charging, the users can safely use their phones even while charging it.

With the introduction of warp charge 30T, it seems that the company has brought in some major changes from the OnePlus 6T model. The latest model from OnePlus will also feature a pop-up selfie camera with a 16-megapixel lens. It will be launched on 26th September along with the OnePlus TV.  The company has announced that wireless charging will not be a part of this release as it cannot support fast charging capabilities.
