OnePlus 7T Pro & 7T Pro McLaren Edition Renders Leaked: Same Design, Better Specs

OnePlus 7T Pro McLaren Renders

It has hardly been a week since OnePlus 7T’s render, and specifications were leaked. Now latest renders of the OnePlus 7T Pro and OnePlus 7T Pro Mclaren Edition have been leaked. The phones are supposedly going to launch later this month, and we already have their CAD-based renders online. Renowned tipster @OnLeaks leaked the renders, and he released the upcoming phone’s first look. The OnePlus 7T Pro will be a successor of the OnePlus 7 Pro, whereas a special edition of the OnePlus 7T Pro called McLaren Edition would be released in partnership with supercar brand McLaren, just like the OnePlus 6T Mclaren edition which was released last year. The phones will be launched on 26th September and will hit the market by 15th of October 2019.

OnePlus 7T Pro Specifications

The upcoming OnePlus 7T Pro’s key specifications had already been leaked online on Twitter by an Indian tipster last week, along with a render of the OnePlus 7T. Although the OnePlus 7T has a significant design upgrade – a circular ring rear triple-camera setup – the OnePlus 7T Pro looks very similar to the OnePlus 7 Pro. However, the OnePlus 7T Pro McLaren Edition has a different look in the back panel. It comes with a textured carbon-fiber like pattern on the entire rear surface, and has bright orange touches on the bottom and sides, resembling McLaren sports cars.

However, there are some upgrades in specifications, keeping design aside. The OnePlus 7T Pro will have a Snapdragon 855+ SoC, unlike the Snapdragon 855 on the OnePlus 7 Pro. Moreover, the OnePlus 7T Pro will come with Android 10 (Android Q) out-of-the-box. The OnePlus 7T Pro also has a powerful 4,080mAh battery powered by OnePlus’ latest Warp Charge technology with 30T fast charging support. The warp charging technology can charge the phone from 0 to 50 percent in 20 minutes and 0 to 100 percent within 65 minutes. Another cool aspect of the warp charging is that it isolates the heat generated in charging the phone, so the phone stays cool and can be used for any purposes even while it is charging.

The OnePlus 7T Pro, as well as the 7T Pro McLaren Edition, has the same curved edge-to-edge screen with pop-up selfie camera like the OnePlus 7 Pro. It means the dimensions could be identical too, and users should expect a 6.27-inch screen. Also, the display will most likely be the same Fluid AMOLED panel with 90Hz refresh rate as that of the OnePlus 7 Pro, with an in-display fingerprint scanner. Some other features known so far are the camera’s Macro Mode, HEVC, and Hybrid Image Stabilization, which we have seen earlier with the OnePlus 7 Pro as well. The new 7T Pro can also support 240, 480 and 960fps in slow-mo videos for 10 seconds, and has an improved Nightscape mode over the OnePlus 7 Pro.
