As everybody was expecting, the OnePlus 5 offers some really high-end specs, together with a somewhat affordable price. However, as good as it is, how does it stack against the Google Pixel XL? Read on if you want to check out a brief comparison between the two devices!
If you’re already familiar with the OnePlus products, then maybe you already know that the company has always gone for a simple and minimalist design. Things are not that different with the new OnePlus 5, which has an aluminum unibody. It presents rounded edges and corners, with a slightly curved back. Meanwhile, the Google Pixel XL has got somewhat a common design. It offers a metal body and a small glass window on the back.
The OnePlus 5 offers a 5.5-inches AMOLED Full HD display and it runs on the most recent Snapdragon 835 CPU. You can choose between two configurations: a 6 GB RAM/ 64 GB internal storage one or 8 GB RAM/ 128 GB memory. However, it doesn’t offer a microSD card slot, so you can’t expand it. It comes with a dual-camera feature on the back, sporting a 16 MP sensor and a 20 MP telephoto lens. The front camera is a 16 MP one as well.
Meanwhile, the Pixel XL comes with the same 5.5-inches AMOLED screen, only it offers a higher QHD resolution. It runs on the Snapdragon 821 chipset, which was found on the OnePlus 3T model last year. It runs on 4 GB RAM and 32 or 128 GB internal storage that can indeed be expanded. The camera on the back is a 12.3 MP one, which is great, while the front one is 8 MP. The battery it’s a 3,450 mAh one, larger than the one found on the OnePlus.
