OnePlus 5 Specs Following Leaks

Recently, OnePlus 5 has been subjected to a lot of speculations and rumors, especially in regards to its dual-camera setup, but two extra leaks have leaked recently and they do very little straighten out the confusion in regards to its exact specifications.

The First Leak

Posted on Weibo, a famous Chinese micro-blogging site, a supposed image showcases OnePlus 5 and the possible dual-camera configuration in a horizontal position similar to the iPhone 7 Plus’s camera orientation. Apart from this, new traits are seen in regards to the antenna’s lines, which confirm past leaks regarding the OnePlus 5. It is still unknown whether the pone will have a horizontal or vertical dual camera configuration, but the vertical is the most expected out of the two options.

The Second Leak

Also posted on Weibo, another leaked image shows us the same vertical design for the dual camera as seen in earlier leaks. Also, it is believed that a LED flash will be situated on the back between the two sensors. The leak has been initially spotted by Droid Holic, an Android news website.

These leaks serve only to create more confusion than to clarify anything, and the discussions regarding the camera setup even more shrouded in mystery. But all the leaks had a commonality associated to them, the dual camera system preset in the device.

Information about the Company

Although not confirming the dual-camera setup, the company is known to have partnered themselves with DxO. This has been done to improve the quality of the camera for their next flagship device. Again, no public information has been disclosed as to the exact setup they will be working on, but they did specify that it will be done in an effort to ‘’enhance your photography experience’’.
