OnePlus 3 vs. HTC U Ultra – Which One to Choose?

The OnePlus 3 handset was released back in June 2016, while the HTC U Ultra has hit the stores in January 2017. Today we will compare these two smartphones and let you decide which one of them suits your needs better.

Designs

The OnePlus 3 measures 152.7×74.7×7.4mm and weigh 158 grams. Its body is made completely of metal and on the back, you can see two slim lines at the top and bottom. Also, you can buy the phone in Graphite or Soft Gold color. On the other hand, the HTC U Ultra is thicker and heavier as it measures 162.4×79.8x8mm and weights 170 grams. The phone came with a full metal frame and a glass back available in colors such as Brilliant Black, Cosmetic Pink, Ice White and Sapphire Blue.

Displays

The OnePlus 3 features an optic AMOLED display of 5.5-inch that supports a resolution of 1920×1080 pixels at 401. The HTC U Ultra has a bigger super LCD5 display of 5.7-inch that supports a higher resolution of 2560×1440 pixels at 513 ppi. Alongside the front camera is another 2.05-inch screen that will allow you to interact with the device.

Processors, Graphics Cards & RAM

When it comes to processors and graphics cards, we have to say that the two devices feature a dual-core Kryo processor clocked at 1.6GHz + a dual-core Kryo processor clocked at 2.15GHz and an Adreno 530 graphics. The OnePlus 3 comes with a Qualcomm MSM8996 Snapdragon 820 chipset and 6GB of RAM while the HTC U Ultra has a Qualcomm MSM8996 Snapdragon 821 chipset and 4GB of RAM.

Storages

The OnePlus 3 has an internal storage of 64GB without the possibility to expand it. On the other hand, the HTC U Ultra has been released in two internal storage variants of 64GB and 128GB, which you can also expand up to 256GB using a microSD card.

Cameras

The OnePlus 3 sports a primary camera of 16MP that features LED flash, phase detection autofocus, OIS, geo-tagging, panorama, HDR, face detection and a secondary camera of 8MP. The HTC U Ultra has a primary camera of 12MP that features OIS, laser & phase detection autofocus, dual-LED flash, geo-tagging, auto-HDR, panorama and a secondary camera of 16MP.

Both devices are powered by non-removable batteries of 3000 mAh.
