In a few days, Apple will hold the product launch event. The company is expected to reveal its latest iPhones, including the long-awaited iPhone 8 or should we say, iPhone X?

Apple has sent out the invites for the product event the company will hold on September 12 in Steve Jobs theater. It is one of the biggest tech events this year. It will start at 10 AM Pacific Time. There will probably be a live stream so the fans from around the world can watch.

According to many rumors, the company has been working on the special edition of iPhone to celebrate the iPhone’s tenth anniversary. The tech giant is expected to unveil iPhone 8 at the product launch event.

Many believed the upcoming flagship will be called iPhone 8. Knowing the Apple’s naming scheme, it would be completely logical. But, this is a big year for the company as it is celebrating iPhone’s 10th birthday. So, they may name the flagship differently.

According to a report from iCulture, the official name of the iPhone 8 could be iPhone X. The “X” is for number 10 in Roman numerals.

Apple will not only unveil the iPhone X but two other iPhones as well. Previous rumors said these phones will be called iPhone 7s and iPhone 7s Plus. It seems it will not be the case as the latest rumors suggest iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus will actually be the names of new devices.

The pre-orders may start on September 15, only three days after the product launch event and could be in stores on September 22.

In addition to three new phones, Apple will most likely launch the new Apple Watch and Apple TV. The company will also release the final version of the iOS 11 software that comes with many new features.
