It is official – Apple will hold a product event on September 12 in Steve Jobs theater.
Apple has sent out the invites for the annual iPhone event and it will be the first event the company will hold in its new headquarters, in Cupertino, California, Tech Crunch reports.
Just a few days ago, Dow Jones told WSJ Apple will hold the product event on September 12 in Steve Jobs theater, but at the time there was no confirmation from the tech giant. Now, it is all official, so in less than two weeks, we are going to see several new products.
Besides the unveiling of long-awaited iPhone 8 for the iPhone’s tenth anniversary, there are two other phones Apple will likely introduce. We expect to see updates to the last year’s models, iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus. These will probably be called iPhone 7s and iPhone 7s Plus.
What else? Many reports say the company will launch the all new Apple Watch. In the past few days, we saw some awesome new wearables. Fitbit introduced their first smartwatch, Fitbit Ionic, and Garmin launched new Vivoactive 3 smartwatch. It seems Apple Watch will join the party.
Along with three new phones and the all new Apple Watch, Apple is expected to introduce new Apple TV as well.
The company will release the iOS 11 final version. The new software version comes with a wide range of new features, including Augmented reality engine (ARKit). The users will have the ability to customize the control center, use “Type to Siri”, and more.
Many fans are wondering when will the new products hit the stores. Usually, Apple starts selling the products week and a half after the launch. This means the new phones, Apple Watch and Apple TV will become available on September 22.
