The fact that Nokia is preparing for a great comeback on the smartphone market should not surprise anyone. According to the agreement between the Finns and the folks at Microsoft, Nokia will not be able to launch a smartphone earlier than Q4 of 2017. But images and other information regarding the phones Nokia could introduce are spread over the internet for quite a while now.
The latest images are supplied by the Nokiapoweruser website and are presenting a similar device to an HTC One A9 (or an iPhone, depending on how you prefer). The device could be just an abandoned prototype leftover from the time before the Microsoft acquisition – we have seen a few of those in the past, given the fact we don’t know much about it. Initially, it was thought that we are dealing with one of three Smartphones that Nokia might soon release.
But recently, an image presenting the front case has appeared. Thus, revealing that we are dealing with a fully featured phone, featuring a keyboard on the front and a very small screen, possibly 3.5 inches. This would be the second feature phone to be released by Nokia, after the 230 model. It might be available in two versions, with one and two SIM cards support.
The functionality of the device is basic, but there might be a few features that might draw your attention, like the ability to capture selfies at a decent quality or unmatched performance.
