Nokia 6 smartphone has started using Android 7.1.2 Nougat OS and it is very good news, suggesting that soon the device could also run on Android 8.0 Oreo.
According to HMD Global, Nokia 3, Nokia 5, Nokia 6 and Nokia 8 will also receive software updates. So far all Nokia devices, including Nokia 8 run on Android 7.1.1 Nougat OS.

GSMArena posted news regarding the newest system update of Nokia 6. The Android 7.1.2 Nougat update weighs 665MB and includes security patched for October.
A couple of days ago on GFXBench website appeared a photo of a Nokia 6 running Android 7.1.2 Nougat operating system.
It is unknown when the other Nokia devices will receive the same update, but according to an official of the Finish company the change should take place in the next few days. Android 8.0 Oreo will be used for Nokia 3, Nokia 5, and Nokia 6 untill the end of 2017.
The Finish company released the Nokia 6 device on the 8th of January this year and there are a couple of variants known by now: TA-1000 (China), TA-1003 (Hong-Kong, Taiwan), TA-1021, TA-1025, TA-1033, TA-1039 (Global)
The phone has a non removable 3000 mAh battery, A rear 16 MP camera and a 8MP one, 3 or 4 GB of RM and 32/64 GB memory storage. The system on chip is a Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 Octa core 1.5 GHz Cortex-A54 CPU and Adreno 505 GPU.
Nokia 6 has a 5.5-inch display with Gorilla Glass 3 and it weights 169 grams. The device was firstly released in China and it was sold out almost instantly. During the 2017 Mobile World Congress, Nokia company announced the smartphone will be available globally.
