What better way to get a feel of nostalgia than to play a game on NES Classic? This is the first console that showed people how fun gaming can be and this is why Nintendo holds a special place in every gamer’s heart. With that being said, Nintendo is looking to capitalize on this by relaunching the NES Classic during next month.
Relaunching NES Classic on June 29th
We should mention that this isn’t the first time that Nintendo launched NES Classic and that all units were sold out before NES Classic even hit the shelves. Therefore, every Nintendo fan who wants to remember how gaming used to be when they were young should make sure to pre-order the console on June 29th.
NES Classic and SNES Classic Prices
Nintendo didn’t only announce when the retro gaming console is going to be launched, but it also unveiled how much it will cost. NES Classic is going to be priced at $60 while the more advanced SNES Classic will cost $80. To make things even better, Nintendo announced that it’s going to keep producing the two retro consoles all throughout the year.
While the $60 price tag for NES Classic might sound a little bit expensive, Nintendo fans should be happy to know that the retro console will ship with 30 free games thus making up for the cost. Some of these games are highly popular titles such as Donkey Kong and the famous Super Mario Bros. In addition, the SNES Classic which is a smaller version of NES Classic will be bundled with 21 games such as Star Fox 2.
Considering that Nintendo is making huge profits by reselling some of its older devices, we can’t stop from wondering if the tech giant might want to relaunch N64 next. All that we can do right now is wait and see if Nintendo gives us any hints about an upcoming N64 launch.
