Nine Email finally released the v4.0.0 and you get it from Google Play Store. This new version comes with plenty of features and the long awaited Gmail support. Let’s take a look at the newest additions of Nine Email.
Gmail
This is the most important change since users have been waiting for a while to use Gmail with the Nine Email app. You will be able to send mail with an alias thanks to the “Send mail as” option. The v4.0.0 update also allows you to sync your signature from the Gmail server and sync your Google Profile Image. The update also comes with full text search and vacation responder.
Calendar
When it comes to Exchange Server 2010 (or higher) and Office 365, V4.0.0 will allow you to add or delete attachments, to sync your schedule and to add or delete the folder for the shared calendar. Accept the share notification email from the sharer and you will sync the shared calendar.
You have plenty of options for events as well. You will be able to create and edit and event, to set it to private and to forward events.
IMAP
Another important change for Nine Email is the IMAP support. Now there are multiple email providers such as Hotmail, Gmail and iCloud. Numerous system folder settings were also added: Trash, Junk, Archive, etc.
Samsung DeX, Tablet
There will be a three column email UI, and for Samsung DeX there will be some new options (resize, composer for DeX mode, file drag & drop for composer)
Other features
Nine Email v4.0.0 also comes with some minor improvements. The update added subtasks, week & three day view in calendar and various swipe actions. EML viewer also features Reply/ Reply All/ Forward options.
