With the upcoming Android 8 Oreo on the way, plenty of mobile phone companies confirmed that their products will receive the latest OS. One example would be HMD high end smart-phone, Nokia 8, which is currently running the Android 7.1.1 Nougat Operating System, not the latest Android 8.0. However, the software giant, Google, already confirmed that it is going to introduce the latest OS on the Google-based devices first, and Nexus 7 2017 is one of those devices.
This year, October is expected to be full of surprises and multiple launches. The phone enthusiasts are going to see the latest Nexus 7 2017, the new generation Pixel phones, as well as the launch of Apple’s iPhone 8, all are planned to be launched in the same month.
The Android 8 Oreo OS was first introduced by Google at the I/O Conference and since then, the levels of anticipation have only been going up. The giant is getting the operating system ready and finalizing the last stages before release. The OS update will be available for the latest Android mobile devices, as well as smart-phones which are currently running on Android 7.0 or above versions.
Moreover, it is safe to assume that the users will be seeing the Android 8.0 on the latest Nexus 7 2017 and the reason the giant company is taking so long to develop a stable version of the OS is that the developers are currently working on other tasks too: the upcoming launch for the Pixel series is just one of the reasons.
There are plenty of rumors surrounding the upcoming Nexus 7 tablet, some people say that the Huawei Company is manufacturing the new generation of Nexus, other state that Google and HTC are collaborating to bring this device on markets. Furthermore, the upcoming Android 8 Oreo will come as the default Operating System on these devices.
Nonetheless, Google is going to announce all these devices together: Pixel 2, Pixel 2 XL and Nexus 7 2017. Even though October was confirmed to be the month of all these releases, Google has not mentioned yet their specific dates.
