An electronic device mostly garners some attention after it is launched in the market. If the consumers like it, the buzz increases steadily and the product does well in the long run. However, there are times when a product generates a good amount of buzz even before hitting the stores. That’s exactly what has happened with the upcoming Samsung Galaxy M62.
The soon-to-be-launched smartphone by Samsung had been awarded certification by NBTC or National Broadcasting Telecommunications Commission from Thailand. Receiving this certification has confirmed the launch of this phone in the South Asian markets. Now that the device has received it, Samsung might have already started planning a well-organized launch for the smartphone across the world.
Reportedly, Samsung is planning to launch the phone in multiple countries simultaneously. The NBTC certification makes it quite clear that the SM-M625F/DS model number gets the moniker Samsung Galaxy M62. However, no information is available about the specifications of the device yet. The model number and moniker were last certified at the Bluetooth SIG certification. The device was also approved by the Wi-Fi Alliance recently. These certifications almost bear testimony to the fact that the smartphone features Android 11 OS, dual-band Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 5.0.
It is being said that apart from the Galaxy M62, Samsung is planning to launch another smartphone which will be called Galaxy F62. There is a possibility of it being quite similar to the Galaxy M62 as far as features and specifications are concerned. The SM-E625F/DS model number belonging to the Galaxy F62 and the SM-M625F model number both featured in FCC certification. The certification pointed towards the phone having specifications like NFC support, 4G LTE, and a 7,000mAh battery.
At the Geekbench benchmarking platform, the Galaxy F62 was found to have 6 GB of RAM and an Exynos 9825 chipset. There are speculations about the smartphone offering 256 GB of internal storage but it has not been confirmed yet. The device has also received certification from the BIS authority of India. On Samsung India’s official website, one can also see a support page for the device.
A few leaked images of the panel of Galaxy F62 reveal that the device could boast of an AMOLED panel along with an in-display fingerprint reader. There is also a chance of it featuring a square-shaped camera module. The pictures also showcased connectivity ports like the 3.5mm audio jack and USB-C. Apart from the aforementioned devices, Samsung is also touted to introduce several other new models like Galaxy F12, Galaxy A72, and Galaxy A52 sometime this month.
