Minecraft on the App Store

Users for iOS devices can now enjoy playing Minecraft: Pocket Edition even without jailbreaking them. Mods are among the important features for this app, which give players more freedom to alter the world and everything you can find in it.

Fans were able to create impressive mods all over the years, which mostly account for the popularity of the game. However, players are wondering if they can ever play Minecraft: Pocket Edition using mod versions.

Good thing third-party apps are there to enable fans to use such mods without even jailbreaking their devices. You can even use this with an Android device via the so-called BlockLaunch app that you can get for free at the Google Play Store. The said third-party app would give you various mods and patches for your Minecraft: Pocket Edition game. However, there are no guarantees that it would work on all of your devices though.

The Plug Pocketmine app, on the other hand, is a great third-party app that can help iOS players to enjoy Minecraft on their iPhone or iPad. This app would allow you to join existing servers or you can host your own.

Jailbreaking your iOS device might not be the optimal solution in order to play mod versions of Minecraft. iOS jailbreak version 11 has not been  released yet, which poses a problem to those who intend to have their devices jailbroken. In fact, there are rumors that Apple no longer signs iOS versions 11 through 11.1.2. Therefore, those who have updated to the latest iOS version should find it hard to jailbreak if they intend to do so.

However, if you wish to get the official Minecraft: Pocket Edition on your iOS device you can do so via the Apple App Store.
