Courtesy of several leaked images, the specs of the Lumia 950 XL and 950 have popped-up online.
The leaked images reveal the pitch of these two Lumia devices and they were posted by Nokia Forever Latinoamerica. This pitch happened at Microsoft’s headquarters and the posted photos indicated the fact that the crew was going over the schedule for the big event planned for the 6th of October. However, as soon as these leaked images went viral in the tech community, the latter tech blog immediately removed the page. After this move, the Nokia Forever Latinoamerica posted the following comment “Unfortunately remove the previous information we had, we were forced to do so, hopefully people we share information to Microsoft if we can publish, meanwhile we leave this renderfb.com/phonedesigner which is very similar to the real model ..” of course by the time this happened, other tech blogs got their hands on the screenshots regarding the Microsoft pitch.
Lumia 950 & Lumia 950 XL specifications
Microsoft Lumia 950 may roll out with a 5.2-inch WQHD (2560x1440p) display and it will surely run on Windows 10. The device will have a Snapdragon 808 Hexa-core SoC under the hood coupled with 3GB RAM and a 3000 mAh battery.
The Lumia 950 XL will deliver a 5.7-inch screen with QHD screen and it will also be running on Windows 10. It will be fired-up by a Snapdragon 810 Octa-core CPU, 3GB RAM while the battery will be a larger one, a 3300 mAh battery to be more precise. These two devices will both have the same 20 MP PureView back end camera unit and a 5MP snapper. And something else that will consecrate these Lumia devices is the fact that Microsoft has implemented an Iris-Scanner, an element that will mostly likely surpass the fingerprint sensor included in the Apple’s iPhone 6S and Samsung’s Galaxy S6 gizmos.
The Lumia 950 devices will also share the limelight with the Surface Pro 4 as well as the Lumia 550 in the month of October.
