When everyone thought that the Fallout 4 Pip Boy edition has been completely sold out, the publisher Bethesda has managed to bring some of them back in stock.
But, even without the company talking about it, everyone knows that this is going to be really less in quantity. If you manage to grab a collector’s edition copy of the game, you should definitely thank the gods, as it is next to impossible to acquire one. There are some fans who are ready to pay hundreds of dollars to acquire the plastic toy but luck didn’t favor them.
According to reports, multiple retailers in Europe and US have listed the collector’s edition on their respective websites. Big players like Amazon and Gamestop have some in stock as well, but by the time you are reading this, chances are high that the North American retails are out of stock already. Most players have started shipping these editions from other countries which will cost more than buying it in their home country, but there’s no choice left.
Bottlecaps Buyer Gets the Game
In other news, a gamer tried to bribe Bethesda to send him a copy of the game. But, unlike everyone else who will usually consider paying with real money, he simply sent them hundreds of bottle caps that he has collected over the years. Most assumed that the developers are going to be really annoyed by this insulting gesture.
As if proving the fact, the team didn’t respond to his query for a long time. Online media confirmed that the guy who tried to buy Fallout 4 with nothing but bottle caps is a big joke of the year. Things have turned out in his favor now as the team has finally responded. It’s definitely a defying economical stunt that he has managed to pull, because Bethesda confirmed they will send him the game. It is not because these caps are worthy but to encourage the perseverance he had throughout the years to collect them.
Fallout 4 is coming to PS4, Xbox One and PC. Earlier, Bethesda made a wrong comment claiming that the PC version of the game will run at 1080p, with just 30 frames per second. Later, they retracted the comment and confirmed the Windows version of the game will not have any restrictions while the console versions will run at full HD resolution with 30 FPS. Good news for all of you who have huge gaming rigs.
