Motörhead’s Ian “Lemmy” Kilmister is a man like no other. He’s got a face a mother couldn’t even love, and gets more hot stripper fotch than you and I will ever land. Truly. This dude lays pipe like a plumber in Mexico and can sing his fucking ass off to boot. Lemmy’s the man.
He tells Billboard.com that he has recorded 10 songs for a solo album he’s been working on for the past seven years.
So far, Lemmy’s landed pal Foo Fighters frontman and Them Crooked Vultures drummer Dave Grohl as one of the album’s special guests. By the time he’s done, Lemmy will have a veritable who’s who of rock and metal on this solo album of his. He has also recruited the Reverend Horton Heat (a sick fucking band you should check out on YouTube), The Damned, and Skew Siskin.
If things go according to plan, the album will be out next year.
“It’s good. It goes all kinds of directions,” he tells Billboard. “It’s either very inconsistent or very eclectic, depending how you look at it.”
