NYC & Company, the official tourist agency, is promoting what it is calling its “On The House” promotion (don’t ask me why it’s call that; maybe some kind of pun). For almost three weeks starting February 8th, 2010, if you purchase a ticket to any one of some 25 Off-Broadway shows, you get another one for free (or — aha — “on the house!”)
Unlike the TKTS discount theater ticket booths that offer discounted tickets to Broadway and Off-Broadway shows, you can book the “On The House” tickets in advance — now in fact, and that wouldn’t be a bad idea.
When purchasing the tickets online, by phone or at the box office, use the promotional code HOUSE for all shows except where noted on the nycgo:on the house Web site.
