Why wait for the end of the month to taste some of the best food in the city? Head to Daley Plaza (50 W. Washington) Wednesday, June 10 (11 a.m.-2 p.m.) to sample some of the food you’ll find at the Taste of Chicago.
Several newer Taste vendors will be cooking up a storm. Vendors participating in this “mini Taste” include: Arya Bhavan, Blue Bayou, Garrett Popcorn Shops, Lagniappe-Creole Cajun Joynt and Sabor Latino. In addition, there will be a live performance from The Eli Story, who will also appear at the real Taste of Chicago on June 26 on the Illinois Lottery Taste stage.
Admission to the Taste of Chicago Public Preview is free, but you still need to buy the food.
Check back in a few weeks for an article all about the festival, which runs from June 26 to July 5 in Grant Park.
