New Report Suggests Samsung Galaxy S10 Will Come With Major Display Change

There haven’t been many details so far about the Samsung Galaxy S10, but a new report from South Korea suggests that the smartphone might come with many of the features we’ve waited for. So, we could be looking at an in-screen fingerprint scanner, a huge bezel-less screen, and advanced face recognition.

And although the Samsung Galaxy S10 will arrive next year, it’s never too late for more rumors! The smartphone will be available in two screen sizes.

According to sources reporting to The Bell, the next Galaxy phones will ditch the iris scanning tech. Instead of them, Samsung will choose to add an in-screen fingerprint scanner and a 3D face scanner. You could say that they’ll follow Apple’s iPhone X.

Until the Samsung Galaxy S10 gets revealed, all rumors must be taken with a grain of salt though. And since Samsung has worked on biometric tech for a long time, so if they can get the sensors to work in time, we could get a new way of phone unlocking. If not, they’re going to stick to a conventional way of locking the phone.

The Samsung Displays and Cameras

The Samsung Galaxy S10 will come in two sizes. One is going to be 5.8 inches, and the other one, the Galaxy S10 Plus will have a display size of 6.3 inches.

The Galaxy S9 display is the same – 5.8 inches, as for the Galaxy S9 Plus, it’s 6.2 inches. Looking at leaked photos of the Galaxy S10, the bezels appear to have shrunk more than the ones in Galaxy S9.

Among other leaks, one of them suggests that the smartphone will come with a triple-lens camera at the back. This means that Samsung wants to catch up with Huawei.

If these changes and major features will be included in the Samsung Galaxy S10, it might end up being next year’s most exciting smartphone.

As for when it might be launched, there are some rumors that suggest Samsung Galaxy S10 be announced at CES 2019, at the beginning of January. If it doesn’t appear there, it might be announced at MWC 2019, at the end of February. This year, the Galaxy S9 range was announced at MWC 2018.

Until more rumors and leaks appear for the Galaxy S10, more official news on the Galaxy Note 9 are bound to appear. Samsung should unveil it within the next two months. The Galaxy Note 9 will give us more tips on how the Galaxy S10 will look.
