Motorola Razr 2019 Could Have a Gold Color Variant; Leaks Reveal

Motorola Razr

There are many reasons for the buzz around the Motorola Razr in its new avatar. The phone has been officially launched a couple of months back but the actual shipping commences now. Not to be confused with the device by the same name launched in the feature phone days of 2004, this new smartphone is called the Motorola Razr 2019. It will reach the hands of the buyers even as there are hardly 10 days for the other flip phone, the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip being released officially on February 14. Observers will be keen to make a comparison. The more interesting development with regard to the Motorola Razr 2019 is a new set of renders showing the phone in the golden shade.

Golden Finish in the Bottom Bezel and the Rear

These photos of the Motorola Razr 2019 have been shared by Evan Blass on Twitter. There has been no official word from Motorola on the color choices being offered in this device. It is possible that the Gold model is also included in the range. There is also the possibility that the company will make it into a collector’s item and issue a limited number of devices in the market. This is because the company had released a limited-edition Moto Razr V3i way back in 2006 and at that time it had collaborated with Dolce & Gabbana, an Italian fashion house for it. Will it be a similar arrangement this time? There’s no way of confirming any of these now.

The Moto Razr flip phone has a form factor where there is a prominent bottom chin that houses some physical buttons where needed and the thin top part folds into it making it a smooth exterior on both sides. The golden model that has been leaked now has the bottom chin in golden color and well as the rear panel. It may not appear to be real golden shade but a little bit of copper in it. The overall look has that stunning effect and giving off a luxurious feel.

If there is a gold model of the Motorola Razr 2019, when will the company make an official announcement on it? Will it want to spoil the part for Samsung by making a splash on February 14? Will it use the MWC 2020 to draw the attention of the world media for an announcement? Is there a 5G variant? Could this be the one?

Wait for the follow-up news.
