Motorola is rolling out a lot of devices for the mid-range smartphone market with its Motorola One series of smartphones. Recent devices like the Motorola One Vision, as well as the Motorola One Action, are phones with good camera quality and unique offerings. The former phone provides a 21:9 CinemaVision Display for better video playback and the latter offers an action camera for capturing fast moving objects.
Motorola is rumored to extend its Motorola One lineup with the Motorola One Macro smartphone. The upcoming device is expected to have a macro lens, which can be used to capture close-up shots of objects. Leaked images of the new device have surfaced ahead of the official launch as usual. They give us a good understanding of how the gadget will look and some of its features too.
Motorola One Macro Design
The new device by Motorola will feature a waterdrop style notch which is a downgrade from the hole punch notch that is present in the Motorola One Vision. The phone seems to have a significant chin and forehead bezels even after the notch.
The device has a gradient color scheme at the back, with the leaked variant being a purple gradient. The images also suggest that the phone might have a glass back.
On the sides of the handset, there is a power button and a volume rocker as usual on the right side and a SIM tray on the left side.
The fingerprint sensor is placed at the rear of the device, which is again a downgrade from the Motorola One Vision which has an in-display fingerprint sensor. The Motorola logo is embossed in the fingerprint sensor.
At the bottom of the device, we can see a speaker grille, a USB C port, and a microphone but no headphone jack.
Motorola One Macro Camera
Looking at the camera module, we can see a new design with three cameras with an LED flash being stacked vertically as we’ve seen before, but a bigger camera is also seen separately. The bigger lens seems to be the macro lens, which is a defining feature of the Motorola One Macro and thus is placed apart from the primary camera module. The specifications of the camera module are not available yet but will most probably be leaked before the launch date.
