Motorola One Hyper

Photos and leaks of an upcoming Motorola One smartphone have surfaced in the past months. It was originally leaked by the Spanish website ProAndroid and on a Motorola Latin America community page. The full specifications of the device were leaked but we didn’t know what it was going to be called. A leak from XDA Developers now reveals that the leaked Motorola smartphone with a pop-up selfie camera is going to be called the Motorola One Hyper.

Motorola One Hyper Specifications

The Motorola One Hyper is going to have a model number of XT2027-1. It will be the next iteration in the manufacturer’s One series which has seen devices like the Motorola One Zoom, Motorola One Macro and more. The reason for calling the device Motorola One ‘Hyper’ is not known.

Nevertheless, the upcoming device will be the first Motorola One device with a pop-up selfie camera and a 64MP primary camera which can be seen in other recent devices from Xiaomi, Samsung and others. The device will feature a Qualcomm Snapdragon 675 SoC along with 4GB RAM and 128GB onboard storage. Since it is a Motorola One device, the handset will run a stock version of Android 10 and will receive guaranteed Android updates for three years.

The pop-up selfie mechanism will house a 32MP front-facing shooter. The rear camera setup is also expected to have two more snappers – an ultra-wide 8MP sensor and a depth sensor.

The display is a 6.4-inch 1080p display, which has an aspect ratio of 19.5:9. The display is bezel-less with no notch due to the pop-up selfie camera. The back of the device features a notification ring that surrounds the rear fingerprint sensor. This ring can be customized for different scenarios and it also acts as breathing light.

Motorola One Hyper Release Date

The device is expected to launch next year since it comes with Android 10 out of the box. However, there is no official confirmation from Motorola regarding the Motorola One Hyper device yet. We will surely get more information in the days to come.
