The affordable Motorola Moto E6 Plus was last seen while benchmarking and this was a couple of months ago. After the benchmark, there was no report from Motorola about the release date of the phone. On the other hand, Motorola didn’t even unveil the phone in a special event. Some notable tech enthusiasts might have forgotten the E6 Plus, but now the internet is swarming with new leaked images of E6 Plus.
The new leaks suggest that the forthcoming E6 Plus is going to feature the trendy water-drop notch display. If people were expecting that the bezels of the E6 Plus will be slimmer, then they are going to be utterly disappointed. It is commendable that E6 Plus features cutting-edge features for a budget smartphone.
Specs of Moto E6 Plus
The benchmark score suggests that Motorola is going to feature an HD+ display with 720 X 1569 resolution. The storage capacity of the forthcoming budget Android smartphone by Moto is currently known. Nevertheless, the speculations suggest that Moto E6 Plus will have Android 9.0 Pie out of the box.
It is speculated that E6 Plus will feature the new MediaTek Helio P22 processor. The phone also has a codename, namely “Poker+.” At the very least one variant of Moto E6 Plus would come with 2 GB RAM. As far as the camera of the E6 Plus is concerned, the phone will sport a 13 MP sensor alongside a 2 MP depth sensor for Bokeh mode. The front-facing camera of the phone would have an 8 MP sensor.
Design and Display of E6 Plus
As mentioned earlier, Moto E6 Plus would come with a water-drop U shaped display just like its older sibling Moto Z4 and One Zoom. The leaked images suggest that the screen of the phone is completely flat, but the edge of the phone is round in shape. In addition to this, the bottom side of the bezels is extensive when it is compared with the newly released smartphones.
The right panel of the phone comes sporting a power button along with volume rocker buttons. It is currently unsure if Moto E6 Plus would come with the next-gen charging module, USB Type-C. Both the Moto E6 and E5 Plus came with a conventional USB 2.0 charging point. As it is a budget phone, the headphone jack will be present on either the bottom of the top edge of the phone. The leaked images didn’t reveal the location of the audio jack.
