Motorola launched the much-rumored Motorola One Vision smartphone at a launch event in Brazil on May 15. Motorola has started sharing a ‘block your date’ invitation for yet another premium device launch on June 20 in India. The company refrained from mentioning exactly which device it is going to be; however, reports suggest that it could be Motorola One Vision.
Motorola One Vision could be launched in India for a price of around Rs. 25,000 (approx. $361). The phone is priced at around $339 in Saudi Arabia and Thailand.
Phone Specifications of Motorola One Vision
One Vision will be the pioneer smartphone from the brand with a hole-punch display, akin to Samsung Infinity O display, to house a selfie camera. In addition, the Motorola One Vision also contains Samsung’s Exynos chipset and dual rear cameras with a 48-megapixel main sensor.
The device belongs to the Android One program, which means it’ll function on Android 9 Pie out of the box and will get software support for a minimum of 3 years. The phone dons a 6.3-inch display with a tall aspect ratio 21:9 aspect ratio and a full-HD+ resolution of 1,080 x 2,520 pixels.
To the core lies 2.2 GHz octa-core Exynos 9609 processor, paired with 4 GB of RAM and 128 GB built-in storage, which is user extendable up to 512 GB using micro-SD card. Coming to the camera, the device boasts of 48 MP primary sensor with f/1.7 aperture and a 5 MP secondary sensor with f/2.2 aperture on the rear and 25-megapixel shooter on the front for selfies and video calling.
The phone is powered by a 3,500 mAh battery with TurboCharge support, a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor, and Google lineaments like Digital Wellbeing and Assistant. The handset comes in Sapphire Blue and Bronze colors and offers connectivity options such as 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.0, A-GPS with GLONASS, USB Type-C, 3.5 mm audio jack, NFC, and dual SIM support (hybrid).
No way out for Motorola’s Z series
Motorola has sat silent this year. Even the Moto Z4, which should have been its titular 2019 flagship, came out silently, thanks to a premature announcement by Amazon. It’s almost as if it didn’t want to call attention to the latest Moto Z model, which honestly doesn’t have enough functionality to compete with high-end phones. However, if you were expecting that Motorola was just preparing to make a bigger splash, you might be disappointed to hear that, as it doesn’t have any other Moto Z phone planned this year.

In response to an interested potential user on Twitter, Motorola USA established that there are no other Moto Z handsets planned this year. This concludes that there will be no Moto Z4 Force or Moto Z4 Play as 2020 would be far too late to launch one.
