After such a long wait, the successful Lenovo brand Motorola has finally announced the Moto G5S and G5S Plus models. The phones are, in fact, the sequels to the previous Moto G5 and G5 Plus devices. Both of them are built in the same line as the predecessors and bring various updates. Starting this month, the phones will become available in several countries all over the world. However, you should expect in the US only in the fall.
Both phones are available in two colors: Fine Gold and Lunar Grey. Regarding the price, the G5S is set at the price of 249 € (Rs 18,848). Meanwhile, the G5S Plus devices has a price tag of 299 €, which is Rs 22,697.
Moto G5S Specs
The phones are not that different one from each other. The Moto G5S comes with an all-metal unibody design and a 5.2-inches display with Full HD resolution. The fingerprint scanner is placed below the display, right in the middle. The battery is also excellent, having 3,000 mAh.
Moto G5S Plus
The Moto G5S Plus differs from the other because it’s bigger. It offers a 5.5-inches display with a Full HD resolution. The device runs on a Qualcomm Snapdragon 625, together with an octa-core CPU clocked at 2.0 GHz. It runs on the Android Nougat operating system, just like the G5S. The battery is the same as the one included on the other device, namely a 3000 mAh one.
When it comes to the camera, the Moto G5S Plus brings a dual camera setup. This consists of 13 MP sensors placed horizontally behind f/2.0 lenses on the back. The rear camera also offers various camera modes. For example, one of the most appreciated is the portrait mode. On the front you will find a decent 8 MP camera.
