For those who have been sharp enough to notice the trend, shiny blue colored phones are making headlines these days. The Meizu Note 9 will now officially be available in a blue colored variant. The company chooses to call it the Starlight Blue which will add one more color to the line-up and convince buyers to go for it.
The Meizu Note 9 was originally launched way back in the month of March. Before we knew it, we are already in the middle of 2019 and all the models that got launched during the first quarter look old now. It is a great marketing strategy to introduce a shiny blue colored variant of the phone at this stage, to entice people into buying it.
When it was launched, Meizu Note 9 was available in just black and white colors. From the perspective of a buyer, these were obviously boring colors that did not add any personality to the phone. After all, even Apple came up with so many color choices for their iPhone XR including Yellow, Red and Pink variants. When they can do so much, considering how classy, Apple devices are, it is an obvious choice for every other Android phone manufacturer out there to add more colors to their lineup.
The Starlight Blue as the company calls it is already available for purchase on the Meizu website. If you have been looking for a new phone or particularly liked this model but wanted a better color choice, this could be the time to grab it. Similar to how Huawei made their phones with color shifting technique when exposed to light, Meizu has done the same with their Note 9 model as well.
It shows thin lines of different shades of blue all over every time it is exposed to bright lights and that adds a great sense of sophistication to this product. The phone is quite strong in terms of specifications too. It sports a large 6.2-inch IPS display with FHD+ resolution. While it is not one to be on the premium side with pop out or punch hole front camera, the drop notch does not interfere much with the screen real estate that you get.
The front has a 20-megapixel selfie camera while the rear houses a much more powerful 48-megapixel camera combined with 5-megapixel depth sensor camera. It is capable of producing some decent results in terms of camera performance but considering it is a budget device, you can expect an all-rounder. The phone which is powered by Snapdragon 675 processor with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of storage, is priced at $202. Another model is available at $231 with 6GB RAM and 128GB storage.
