Meet Raspberry Pi Zero For $5

Raspberry Pi is well-known as a mini PC with PC capabilities and it’s used a lot on IoT projects. This device is also popular because of its affordable price, starting from $25. It’s a quite cheap, but you’ll be more surprised if you know that there is one device that’s even cheaper, called the Raspberry Pi Zero, which is sold for only $5. Even though the price is so affordable, you can rely on its specification inside.

Raspberry Pi Zero uses a Broadcom BCM2835 ARM 11 SoC with 1Ghz of speed core inside, as well as the Rasberry Pi 1. This version is claimed 40% faster than Rasberry Pi 1. Its has a 512MB of memory, MicroSD slot, 2 Micro USB, and HDMI mini port. Moreover, there is a video out composite and 40 pin of GPIO, like the one for Rasberry A+, B+, and 2B models. All is packed in a compact design with a credit card size. With its much more affordable price, Magpi magazine makes Pi Zero as a bonus for their new edition.
