Logitech Launches A Wireless Gaming Mouse

The Swiss company has recently launched a wireless mouse dedicated to gaming, which lends itself to be the best ever made. It is called Logitech G900 Chaos Spectrum.

The features of this gaming mouse include professional-grade wireless, optical sensor, flexible ambidextrous design (i.e. it can be used with both hands), customizable lighting, mechanical design of the pivot key, for better performance and comfort during long gaming sessions.

Ujesh Desai (vice President and general manager of Logitech’s gaming) said:

“I spoke with many professional eSports players and none of them likes the cord from a wired mouse. They have expressed a desire to have the freedom that is given by a wireless mouse and the precision of wired one. Thus, this was the goal of our engineers: design a wireless gaming mouse which will be faster than the competition ones. G900 meets these expectations and we are more than sure that this is the best gaming mouse we’ve ever done”.

However, let’s take a closer look at this mouse.

Professional-grade wireless technology

Logitech G900 Chaos Spectrum comes equipped with an interesting feature. According to Logitech, the mouse has a ratio of one millisecond. It operates in the 2.4 GHz band.

Thanks to the exclusive clock tuning technology, after a single charge you can play continuously for a maximum of 32 hours (24 hours with backlight). When the battery runs out of power, the battery monitoring system, set in the Logitech Gaming Software (LGS) will notify you.

There is no need to stop a gaming session to recharge the mouse because it has the ability to switch from wireless to wired mode when it is connected directly to the PC. It only takes an average of two hours to charge the mouse from 0 to 100%.

Optical sensor

Wait… No laser? Why? Logitech G900 Chaos Spectrum contains the PMW3366 optical sensor that is recognized worldwide by the gamers as a high-performance sensor. According to Logitech, this mouse has zero acceleration and DPI filtering (200-12000 DPI) on the whole range.

Logitech G900 Chaos Spectrum has been optimized to reduce weight while maintaining the stability. It weighs 107 grams because, according to Logitech, each component falling throughout the mouse was designed to reduce the unnecessary mass.

Price and availability

Logitech G900 Chaos Spectrum will be available in stores in Europe in early April 2016 at a recommended price of EUR 179. For more information click here.
