LG V60 ThinQ Expected to Have Four Rear Cameras; Leaked Rear Panel Photos Reveal

LG V60 ThinQ

At the onset of 2020, all major smartphone manufacturers are ready with newer versions of their most popular smartphones from last year. The LG V60 ThinQ will be yet another successor to the successful V50 ThinQ from 2019 and a new leaked rear panel reveals that the phone may have four rear cameras.

While it is difficult to comprehend as to why smartphone manufacturers are obsessed with adding as many cameras as possible to a phone but remove the only headphone jack and even physical buttons, the trend will continue and it is here to stay. Recently, a leaked case for the Huawei P40 Pro indicated that this smartphone had a five-camera setup pushing the boundaries even further and Samsung, LG or no other brand for that reason is not going to give up on this trend for now.

There’s a Pink Phone Now!

The LG V60ThinQ got leaked through a back panel available in two different colors, blue and silver. The horizontal large opening is similar to the flat design found in Galaxy S models from Samsung and space could easily be used to implement at least four cameras including all the essential sensors. Usually, the fingerprint scanner is placed on the rear side of the phones but slowly one after the other models are moving towards an in-display fingerprint scanner.

Based on the leaks revealed by a reliable source, Slash Leaks also confirmed that along with the blue and silver colors, the phone will also be available in a pink-colored variant for the first time. The phone has some surprising additions for users who really love it because the handset retains the 3.5mm headphone jack and a dedicated Google Assistant button that is not found in most models. It also has a U-shaped notch in the middle.

Being a flagship model, it would have been great if the LG V60ThinQ opted for a punch-hole camera or completely removed the notch by going for a motorized front camera. Another upcoming model in the line-up includes LG G9 but with the Mobile World Congress event scheduled for February 2020, it is going to be a really short wait before all the smartphone models get an official launch or reveal during the grand event.
