If you live in the US and own an LG G6 handset, then we have some good news for you. According to reports, a new major update has just been released for the LG G6 handset and the people who live in the US should get it right now via the over-the-air (OTA).
While the change log doesn’t reveal anything about the update, we can confirm that this is a major update, because it has a significant size of 640MB. Keep in mind that this update is currently rolling out in the US only for the unlocked units.
The summary of the update from the change log just says “phone usability and functionality has been further improved.” Hopefully, some more information about this update will appear on the internet in the near future. There are some reports saying that this new update also comes with Android security fixes for June 2017, but we can’t confirm this yet.
