Lenovo Makes its Lenovo Z6 Pro Ferrari Edition Nearly Official

Lenovo is gearing up to launch a series of great smartphones for 2019. While Samsung and Google have started unveiling its lineup of devices, Lenovo is coming up with a special Ferrari Edition for its Z6 Pro model.

As expected, it is going to be bright red in color which is an ode to the Ferrari car brand. The edition is all set to hit the market soon and it was officially confirmed by Chang Cheng, the Vice President of Lenovo. He not only confirmed that such a special edition is coming but also released a picture of the phone.

Apart from being all red, it also has the Ferrari logo imprinted on the back. It may not be the only selling factor but the Lenovo Z6 Pro is a good smartphone of its own and the pricing might be slightly more than the original edition. Red phones are great to look at and have a striking appeal to them. It is because of this reason that people end up buying them irrespective of the brand or model it pertains to.

Lenovo has an agreement with Ferrari for a long time now and all their older models including the Lenovo Z5 and Z5 PRO GT had the same red edition in the past. The looks aren’t the only thing that will be changing in this new phone because the manufacturer will work with the car company to add some unique sounds to it.

The Android operating system which powers the phone will also be customized with a unique skin. It will allow users to get authentic icons designed, inspired by the different cars that Ferrari makes every year. The message tones, ringtone and a couple of other sounds the phone produces will be inspired by the car engines as they add authenticity to this bright red edition.

In terms of hardware specifications, the Lenovo Z6 Pro features a large 6.39-inch AMOLED display with a resolution of 2340 x 1080 pixels. The phone is powered by the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 chipset coupled with 12 GB of RAM and 512 GB of storage space. That’s a massive size for storing all your files as you would do on a computer. It runs on Android 9 with ZUI 11 on top. A surprising addition is that this phone uses liquid cooling which is found in high-end PCs and keeps the device at its peak performance without overheating issues.
