Samsung is expected to launch its new lineup of the Galaxy Book Pro laptops. For the longest time, Samsung remained silent about these products but that did not stop people from speculating and spreading unconfirmed information about them. The Galaxy Book Pro laptops have already made an appearance on the Bluetooth SIG certification website. The laptops that will be launched in this series have been named Samsung Galaxy Book Pro and Galaxy Book Pro 360.
Recently released reports suggest that Samsung will be introducing each of these two laptops in two variants. The two variants will be differentiated by the size of their display screen. According to the list seen on the Bluetooth SIG certification website, the laptops will have features like Bluetooth 5.1, 4G connectivity, and LTE. The newly released report, however, offers a glimpse into some of the other specifications these laptops are expected to have.
The recently published report by SamMobile claims that these laptops will run on Windows and will be powered by Intel Core i5 and Core i7 processors. One of the variants of the laptop will offer LTE and 4G connectivity and therefore should be a good investment for those who travel extensively. One of the variants will feature a 13.3-inch display and the other will have a 15.6-inch display screen. All the variants will have OLED panels.
OLED displays, in fact, will be one of the most attractive features of these laptops. The reason behind this is quite simple. As of now, very few devices boast of this display technology. Another appealing feature from the commercial point of view is the device offering support for the stylus pen. The Pro variants of the laptop will have Wi-Fi and LTE support and the Pro 360 model will have an extra feature in the form of 5G. The latter will also comprise a hinge that will enable the laptop to double up as a tablet.
Samsung has been trying to produce lightweight and high-functioning ultrabooks like some of its competitors like Apple but has not really succeeded on that front. However, that is not something that has worked as a hindrance in Samsung’s endeavor to keep introducing laptops with newer technology. As of now, there is no confirmation about the launch date of these laptops but consumers would not have to wait for a very long time before they can lay their hands on them.
