Apple is known for launching at least 3 new phones every year. It has been following this tradition for quite some time. This year too, it is expected that Apple will launch the iPhone XR 2, iPhone XI and iPhone XI Max. The iPhone XR 2 is expected to be an affordable model and will cost lower than most of the other models. A lot of leaks have been doing the rounds of late and regarding the various models that will be launched. The latest leaks about the iPhone XR 2, one among the three phones expected to release this year, suggests that the case, as well as the camera, may have a significant change in the new model when compared to its predecessor.
The Design Modifications
The phone is expected to have two sensors in its back camera along with an LED flash. This will be enclosed in a square-shaped camera module. Unlike iPhone XR, this model seems to have a wide-notch for the selfie camera and the earpiece. This notch is not like the notch found in the previous model and is a bit wider at the side. From the renders, it is apparent that the volume keys have found a place on the left side of the panel while the power button has been placed on the right side. The charging port, as well as the speakers, have been positioned at the bottom of the panel.
Increased Battery Capacity
Just like its predecessor, the iPhone XR 2 is expected to have funky color options. The latest render that was released had a sky blue color back panel with a clear case. The battery capacity of the new model is also expected to be better than the iPhone XR. Around 5% increase will be seen in the new model in terms of its battery capacity. Users can expect the new model to boast of a 3,110 mAh battery capacity. This seems to be a good boost when compared to iPhone XR.
Specs and Release Date
The upcoming iPhone model is likely to have a second-gen 7nm Apple A13 chipset powering it. A lot of performance and design specifications may be altered when compared to its predecessor. This new iPhone XR 2 is expected to be available at an affordable cost. Usually, Apple launches its new models in the first week of September. This year, there have been some rumors that the launch may be delayed by a few weeks and it is expected to go live by the third or last week of September.
