Even though Samsung Galaxy Note 10’s much-anticipated release is still less than 10 days away, the tech world is full of news and rumors related to other smartphones that Samsung will be launching in 2020. There have been some recent leaks concerning the Samsung Galaxy S11, which will be released in early 2020.
Renowned tech news leaker Ice Universe recently tweeted a few details of the Galaxy S11 which he claims are ‘confirmed’ – and given this person’s track record at technology news leaks, you can be assured they are.
Codename ‘Picasso’, improved Camera
In the above-mentioned tweet, Ice Universe has confirmed that the S11 is being codenamed Picasso; therefore tech enthusiasts should keep an eye on that name over the course of the next few months. The reference to the famous Spanish painter Pablo Picasso points towards the nature of the upcoming phone. It could also indicate that the S11 may have something amazing in terms of the camera- perhaps Samsung is trying to get back in the fight it has been losing to Huawei and Apple.
Someone asked about the Galaxy S11, there are four things that can be confirmed:
1. Codename "Picasso"
2. The camera has a substantial upgrade
3.Based on Android Q One UI 2.x
4.Hole in display is smaller than Note10
Other than that, it is unknown.

Another important piece of information Ice Universe confirmed in the tweet is that the S11 will get a “substantial” camera upgrade. Although that isn’t enough information because ‘substantial’ could mean anything, users should probably expect an enhanced optical zooming mechanism along with more camera sensors. However, one thing’s certain: Galaxy S11 will use Samsung’s Isocell Bright GW1 64-megapixel f1/1.72 sensor.
Smaller Punch hole front camera
Users who are anticipating an invisible selfie camera that comes embedded under the display should abandon their hopes. Ice Universe has said in the tweet that S11 will have a punch-out front camera; however, it will be smaller than the one in the upcoming Galaxy Note 10. Moreover, there is no info yet on the alignment of the camera, whether it’ll be in the centre or on one of the sides. Another detail that Ice Universe confirmed in the tweet is that the S11 will run on Android Q along with Samsung’s One UI.
That’s all for now; Ice Universe has mentioned in the tweet that no other information about the S11 is known yet. Users can also hope for an upgrade on the Note 10 in terms of the processor on S11, but in terms of design, they shouldn’t expect a lot of change, given how the S10 looked pretty similar to the S9. It goes without saying that this is only the first piece of information that has been leaked on the upcoming S11, and there will be many more in the coming months. As of now, all the hype is about the Galaxy Note 10, which will be releasing in a week’s time. Stay tuned for more!
