Rumors and leaks start pilling up as Apple is getting closer to the official launch date for its next-generation iPhone lineup. The expectations are set pretty high for Apple’s upcoming iPhones, especially when considering that the current iPhone X model reinvented how everyone sees the ideal “iOS-powered device”. Nonetheless, today we are going to check out the latest leaks surrounding Apple’s iPhones and get an idea of what to expect.
iPhone Leaked Video
Even though most leaks come in the form of mishandled documents that get listed online, sometimes we get lucky and leaksters manage to get their hands on actually dummy replicas of the upcoming handheld devices. This is exactly what happened today because the Israeli tech journalist Shair Mizarchi somehow managed to get a hold of a 6.1-inch “iPhone 9” and a 6.5-inch “iPhone X Plus” model.
The two dummy models are made by the accessory manufacturer known as “Skech” and they give us an idea of what’s to come. In addition, Skech has confirmed that it started collaborating with Apple a couple of weeks ago which makes the new leak even more plausible.
Leaked Benchmark Listing
It looks like iPhone fans are really lucky today because another leak is showing us what one of Apple’s upcoming iPhones is going to be capable of when it comes to hardware power. The leak we are talking about is a benchmark listing of a new iPhone that scored 10912 points in the multi-core test and 4673 points in the single core test.
To make things even better, the benchmark listing confirmed that the upcoming iPhone will be fueled by a six-core CPU that clocks at a speed of 2.49GHz. The CPU is impressive, but Apple wanted to make sure that it can handle all types of tasks and paired it with 4GB of RAM.
Apple loves to brag about the fact that iPhone X can snap better pictures than every other smartphone. The Cupertino based tech giant doesn’t shy away from letting everyone know that its iPhones are becoming more and more camera-centric and with that said, the latest rumor regarding iPhone X 2018 says that the device will ship with a triple-lens camera.
We don’t know yet what type of features the new triple-lens camera will have to offer, but we believe that it will add more depth to pictures, similar to the “Portrait” mode that iPhone X currently features.
