Since the past week and the last couple of days have given us a wide range of leaked images of the Pixel 3 XL, we got to see that this smartphone might just be Google’s interpretation of a similar design to iPhone X. We do not like to put labels before we give something a chance, which is why today we decided to compare these two smartphones and see where they differ and where they are almost the same.
Differences between the Google Pixel 3 XL and iPhone X
We were only lucky enough to be able to make this comparison between these two smartphones since a set of renders leaked online, putting the two devices side by side. Now, the design for the Pixel 3 XL is not just something that a number of fans have whipped up and decided to make it look “official.” It is comprised and based on a series of prototypes and image leaks. So, the images before you will give you a look of just how Google’s next flagship smartphone will turn out.
Right from the start, we can clearly see that the Google Pixel 3 XL has almost a bezel-free display. The device has the controversial top notch, a two-tone design, and just one camera lens. Now, we can already distinguish the fact that Google’s bezel on the 3 XL is significantly larger than the one that we are seeing with iPhone X.

If Google’s Pixel 3 XL has just one camera on the rear end, it certainly makes up for its losses with a dual front-facing camera setup. By now we also know that the device from Google will even come with a glass back, which would enable the giant tech company to introduce the wireless charging feature finally. This means that we are slowly leaving the design behind the Pixel 2 XL away.
One of the things that we like about Google is the fact that it manages to perfectly embody both the simple, classy design that we see on most Android smartphones and some of the more emblematic elements of Apple’s iPhone X, such as the top notch.
IF these designs turn out to be entirely the truth that we cannot stop but wonder what would this mean for the competition between Google’s flagship device and Apple’s 2018 iPhone X. It will indeed be aggressive, with each company trying to outdo the other, and we cannot get enough of it.
