Testing the durability of a device turned into a habit, after the “Bendgate” scandal related to the release of the first waves of the iPhone 6 terminal. Now came the turn of iPhone SE to be passed through the “caudine forks” of the YouTube users.
It seems that iPhone SE bends without applying too much force, the same way as iPhone 6 did, next to the volume buttons. However, if we get into account the fact that iPhone SE is a short and compact device, this should not be an issue in everyday use.
The fact that the smartphone is not very resistant to bending suggests that Apple didn’t use stronger aluminum, “borrowed” from the aviation industry, as it did on the iPhone 6S.
In the above video, posted on the YouTube account JerryRigEverything, you can see how resistant the new iPhone SE is to scratches and heat.
