Last week we got a new “accidental” leak from Apple. Its new iPhone X Plus flagship was not linked only one time, but twice. Even though the public is really excited to get their hands on this phone and along with every leak more attention is brought to it, you must not get fooled. If you stacked your money for the next and most awaited iPhone, do your homework and research thoroughly because many informational sites suggest that you should purchase the much cheaper iPhone 9 instead of an iPhone X Plus.
Economic Daily News, the Chinese media outlet which is not only popular but historically accurate, has published a report from an insider which modifies a previous leak which claimed that the iPhone X Plus d come in a dual sim version. However, according to Economic Daily News, it was fake news. iPhone 9 is the only phone of the series that supports dual sim.
The dual sim functionality of iPhone was confirmed to be on its way by the iOS 12 beta. After such a confirmation, everybody is wondering why Apple would feature a functionality like this to its budget phone. The answer to this question might and will get you mad especially if you dream about a dual sim iPhone X Plus.
What about China?
Economic Daily News comes with the answer to the previous question. The giant tech wants to sell the dual sim iPhone 9 only in China, giving a single slim variant to the other nations. I know you are angry now but wait a second.
China is the country which gave Apple the most significant demand for a dual sim iPhone. However, this does not provide a reason why Apple would not offer these dual sim iPhone 9s to the rest of the world as well. Furthermore, it is still unknown why Apple will only give China the budget model in a dual sim version and not the iPhone X and iPhone X Plus as well. It is a dent that if an iPhone 9 which measures 6.1 inches is able to fit dual sim, so would do an iPhone X Plus measuring 6.5 inches.
However, Apple’s fans are proud of the company for not copy their rivals, Samsung, which do this often. Apple still keeps its originality.
