As you may well be aware of by now, last week saw the grand beginning and elegant finale of Apple’s Worldwide Developer Conference. The conference took place in San Jose, California, and was the birthplace of many new reveals and news on the part of Apple. One of the most exciting and widely expected announcements was that concerning the new iOS 11. This was certainly the most important highlight of the conference.
However, the new, refreshed and refurbished variants of the iPad Pro model were revealed on Monda, June 5th at WWDC 2017 and sat on display for the majority of the conference. The two new variants, the new and better 10.5-inch and the brand new 12.9-inch are quite spectacular. But you don’t have to take it from us; the video below shows them in greater detail.
But what about older iPad Pro models? The iPad Pro saw two launches thus far: the 9.7-inch in 2015 and the old 10.5-inch in 2016. Needless to say, the new 10.-5-inch iPad Pro is definitely better that the old one, although critics argue that not by far. So what happened to the now elderly 9.7-inch? Is it off the market? Well, no, but it did get a pretty impressive discount from Best Buy.
The discount is only available today, and it consists of 150 dollars off the old 2015 iPad Pro 9.7-inch. So, the device costs a mere 449.99 dollars right now instead of its normal price point of 599.99 dollars. If you’re thinking of trying out an iPad Pro, this might be a good time for you to buy one, although you might want to wait for one of the new ones. Although pricier, if you’re going for it, you could just go all the way. But it’s all up to you.
