Now that everybody had the time to review both the 10.5-inch and the 12.9-inch iPad Pro devices, it’s time for a showdown. Many people are still undecided and don’t know which one to buy yet, which is why a brief comparison between the two products will be really helpful.
The 10.5-inch iPad Pro starts off with a price of $649, while the 12.9-inch version is available for $799 at least. If you want to buy a keyboard and a pencil as well, then you should expect the price to grow to $917 for the 10.5 inch iPad Pro and to $1,067 for the other version.
Just as the name says, the two Apple products come together with a 10.5-inch and a 12.9-inch displays. The smaller version brings up a resolution of 2224×1668 pixels, while the other one offers 2732×2048 pixels. The brightness of the screen also varies, from 477 nits on the smaller iPad to 555 nits on the bigger display.
The smaller iPad weighs 1.1 pounds, while the 12,9-inches iPad Pro reaches a weight of 1.5 pounds.
Considering the sizes, the information in what concerns the battery is quite surprising. As such, the 10.5-inches iPad has a battery that can resist up to 13:55 hours. Meanwhile, the 12.9-inches iPad Pro offers a battery that only lasts for 12:09 hours, significantly less than the former product. A possible explanation for this is the fact that the latter has a bigger screen and thus it uses up more battery.
Even though the 12.9 inches iPad Pro is better than the 10.5-inches version in a number of ways, it still has some disadvantages. One of these disadvantages is the fact that its battery lasts significantly less than the one on the smaller product.
