WWDC 2017 is finally here, meaning that Apple has unveiled its upcoming iPad versions that will be released this year.

First of all, we will talk about the 10.5-inch iPad Pro, which comes with a 20% larger screen when compared to the 9.7-inch iPad. However, the dimensions of the new 10.5-inch iPad Pro are not that big, since the device comes with 40% slimmer bezels.

We can agree that most of you have expected an edge-to-edge display like on the upcoming iPhone 8, but we have to mention that the bezels became smaller, which is always an improvement.

As expected, the screen that the 10.5-inch iPad Pro comes with has all the features and options that the discontinued 9.7-inch iPad Pro had, which include support for True Tone that adjusts the white balance of screen based on the ambient light in a room and DCI-P3 Wide Color Gamut for a wider range of visible colors. The new 10.5-inch iPad Pro display comes with a resolution of 2224×1688 pixels at 264 ppi.

The new device comes with an A10X Fusion chip that has six-cores and a 12-core GPU, which Apple claims to be 40 faster.

The heart of the new iPad Pro is a new, desktop-class A10X Fusion chip with six-cores and a 12-core GPU. Apple claims that the new processor offers 30% faster CPU performance and 40% faster graphics than the old A9X chipset. The good news is that Apple has not removed the headphone jack, meaning that you are still able to use your headphones without any problems on the new iPad.

We also need to mention the new 10.5-inch iPad Pro has the first mobile screen that’s able to update its refresh rate on the go, which will shift from 24Hz to 48Hz and 120Hz.

If you will want to purchase the new 10.5-inch iPad Pro, then you will need to pay $649 for the 64GB of internal storage variant, $749 for the 256GB of internal storage variant or $949 for the 512GB of internal storage variant. However, if you want to purchase the LTE models, you will need to pay $779 for 64GB of internal storage variant, $879 for the 256GB of internal storage variant or $1079 for the 512GB of internal storage variant.
