iOS 12 is expected to be released in 2018 by Apple, and today we find out the first details of what the new features iOS 12 plans to bring.

According to information released today, Apple has postponed the implementation of new important features in iOS 12 for iPhone and iPad, the reason being the desire to focus on improving performance and user experience.

iOS 12 has been under development for some time, but this month Craig Federighi has advised subordinate engineers that they will no longer handle major new features for the new iOS version but instead will have to focus on solving iOS 11 problems.

Initially, Apple planned to redesign iOS 12 home screen, modify the design of key applications like Mail, implement new photo/video editing functions but decided to postpone all those for the feature releases.

iOS 12 will still come up with some new features, namely parental control functions or some features for monitoring users’ health.

Moreover, iOS 12 will also present a more stable performance than iOS 11.x.x, and Apple hopes to launch a bug-free version as the iOS 11 generated a lot of complaints from Apple’s customers.

Actually, iOS 12 will be a minor upgrade to the iOS 11.x.x, according to today’s information.

In conclusion, iOS 12 will virtually become very disappointing for many users because Apple wants to solve problems and improve performance, while Google is focusing on new features for its users. Apple is thinking differently, however, by users say that if the engineers do not focus on major new features for iOS 12, then Apple should have called this update ’11-x-something’.

The new iOS 12 for iPhone and iPad and all that it’s new about it will be fully presented for the first time during WWDC 2018.
