Yesterday, Apple has brought the 4th beta version of the iOS 11 to the developers. This new version brings some important changes that haven’t been spotted until now in the iOS 11 beta.
What Changes Does It Bring?
One of the most desired features that we’ve seen included in this new version is a swipe feature used for clearing the notifications. It is available on the lock screen and you can see it’s pretty useful. Moreover, there are other visual tweaks that were added all throughout the OS.
You will also notice there are some new icons included. The icons refer to the Notes, Reminders and Contacts app. For some users, the icons may appear bugged, which means that some details can appear on the wrong side of the icon: bullets on the Reminders icon on the other side. This happens because Apple takes them through a process of inversion, to fit the languages that read right to left. However, a later beta version should be able to fix this.
The notification center also goes through some changes. Now you are able to swipe to the left when you see a notification on the Lock screen. This will bring up two options: clear or view it. If you tap on View or on the notification itself, you will see a new screen. There, you can learn how to use the Touch ID feature in order to unlock your device and open the app.
Last but not least, the Settings menu has been changed. In the General tab, when you select About, you will see that under Capacity there is the total amount of storage found for the device. Before, you could only see how much storage was available without including the size of the OS.
