iOS 10.3 Jailbreak Update – How to Prepare the Phone

Some new reports have showed that we may soon receive a new iOS 10.3.1 jailbreak by Pangu, dedicated to the 64-bit devices. But how should you prepare your iPad or iPhone properly for the jailbreak?

New Jailbreak to Come

The Pangu team has recently released a teaser for the iOS 10.3.1 and many people started to think about how they should prepare their phone for when the final version will arrive. It’s fun to use a jailbreak tool, but it’s quite serious since you may cause significant problems to the device if you don’t do it right.

How to Prepare the Phone

One of the first things you have to do is to backup the iPhone with the help of iTunes. It’s really an easy thing to do, not to mention that you should be doing this regularly whether you are jailbreaking the phone or not.

The next step is to update the phone to version iOS 10.3.1, which is the latest OS version available for everybody. The iOS 10.3.2 is soon to arrive, so many users may want to upgrade anyway, especially if they are using iOS 10.2.1, for which there’s no available jailbreak.

Next, you have to save the iOS 10.3.1 SHSH2 Blobs. If you save the blobs, this will allow you to downgrade or upgrade, depending on what version you are currently using.

If you just follow the steps you can find online, everything should be fine. However, nobody can guarantee you that everything will work smoothly. In any case, you should be prepared to deal with any problem that may arise on the way.

Needless to say, if you don’t know what you’re doing, it’s better not to do it. Or you can try only if you have a spare device which you can sacrifice.
