Instagram Lets You Bookmark Posts To See Them Later

Instagram now allows users to bookmark the posts to see them later. The latest version of the app brings the bookmark button, and once you tap on it the post will be saved so that you can view it later.

The most popular photo sharing app got many new features lately. We can like comments, remove followers without blocking them, and stream live videos that will disappear once the broadcast is over. Now, we can also save posts we like to view them later.

This is a quite handy option. In a way, Instagram is similar to Pinterest because both apps help us gather ideas for various projects. Inspiration is everywhere. People are sharing wonderful interior design ideas, awesome outfit combinations, recipes, and many other things. There is something for everyone.

When someone of the people you follow posts something interesting, you can always find the post again. But if you find something you like when tapping Explore, and want to save the idea for later, you could either follow the person who posted it or to take a screenshot.

The new feature makes this a lot easier. Now, all you need to do is press the bookmark button under the post, and you are done. The post is saved. You can save the videos too. To view the photos and videos you saved, go to your profile, and tap on the bookmark icon. You will find all the posts there. No one but you can see what posts you’ve saved.

Instagram bookmark

If you want to remove the photo from your “Saved” section, tap on the photo, and then tap on the bookmark button to “unbookrmark” the photo.

The bookmark button is now placed under every photo on Instagram. This means people can bookmark your posts as well. You won’t be notified when someone does that. If you haven’t downloaded the latest Instagram version, head to Play Store or App Store and do it now. After that, start saving all the posts you like!
