Huge LG G7 ThinQ Leak Reveals Real-Life Photos, Boombox Speakers and More: All in One Place

The LG G7 ThinQ is the big and best flagship smartphone which LG is betting on but before its official launch, a huge leak has revealed many of the important aspects of the phone. The device’s hands-on photographs are all over with more details on its accessories and an impressive resolution that’s higher than that of the Samsung Galaxy S9.

LG G7 ThinQ vs Galaxy S9 – The Resolution War

The first big leak deals with the upcoming ThinQ’s resolution. Reportedly, the large phone has a 6.1-inch display which has a resolution of 3120×1440 pixels. The Super Bright Display should work conveniently even under bright sunlight and has an aspect ratio of 19.5:9 providing more screen real estate for apps and games to be displayed.

The Galaxy S9 has a 5.8-inch display while the Galaxy S9+ sports a 6.2-inch display. Both these flagship models have a resolution of 2960×1440 which is lower than what LG offers in their upcoming ThinQ model. For buyers looking to receive the best PPI on their smartphones, this should be an ideal purchase if the speculations are confirmed to be true.

Boombox Speakers for Exceptional Sound Clarity

While many top manufacturers are going away from traditional front firing speakers and the 3.5mm audio jack, LG added dual DAC with a headphone jack in their LG V30 model. The phone was revealed by audiophiles and they are about to continue the trend based on another new leak.

According to a leaked photograph, the LG G7 ThinQ which is just a day from its official launch event sports Boombox speakers which will provide a whole new level of bass using the loudspeakers, according to information obtained from Engadget. The flagship model is capable of providing improved resonance which will be 10 times higher than conventional smartphones and the bass level is expected to go as high as 6dB which is double the normal levels.

The designers of the new G7 have provided utmost attention to the smartphone’s sound department. They are building upon the tradition set by the LG V30 and V30S. The upcoming smartphone has Quad Hi-Fi DAC which allows you to use studio quality headphones to listen to songs. It also supports DTS:X allowing the phone to deliver 7.1 audio channel and this is also the first time ever for a smartphone to support this DTS technology.
