Still not being officially announced, the P9 flagship from Huawei has appeared in the pages of a famous online shop, revealing the main specifications and the sales prices.
Huawei P9
With a 5.2-inch Full HD screen, Huawei P9 is slightly larger than his rival, the Samsung Galaxy S7, and offers a customized implementation of the Always-On feature, allowing the P9 to display static content on its screen using very little energy.
The casing is made from a single piece of metal measuring only 6.4 mm thickness which hides a 3000 mAh battery, where the Galaxy S7 has a thickness of 4.9 mm, for the same capacity of the battery.
P9 is powered by the Kirin 950 chipset, has 3 GB RAM (LPDDR4 1866MHz) and 32 GB internal memory. This juicy spec list is complemented by a dual-camera system (12MP), LTE connectivity and dual-SIM functionality.
Huawei P9 will be shipped with Android 6.0 Marshmallow (custom EMUI interface) at the price of $500.
Huawei P9 Max
Notable through its giant screen of 6.2-inches, Huawei P9 Max uses QHD resolution (2560×1440) and a configuration with powered by 4 GB RAM and the Kirin 955 chipset. It has the same 12 MP dual camera, respectively 3000 mAh battery installed in a metal casing of 6.4 mm thickness.
Equipped with 64 GB internal memory, Huawei P9 Max can be purchased at the price of $700.
Huawei P9 Lite
Featuring a 5-inch Full HD screen, Huawei P9 Lite is maybe the most attractive choice of the three.
For the price of $300, the phone integrates the same dual-camera system with 12MP resolution and OIS image stabilization on the back, and a 5MP camera on the front.
The suffix “Lite” is granted by the integration of a Qualcomm Snapdragon 650 chipset and 2 GB RAM. The phone keeps LTE connectivity and the dual-SIM support, but the 2500 mAh battery will have to be charged more often.
