Based on a TENAA listing, the official specifications and design of Huawei P20 Lite have been confirmed weeks ahead of its launch.
While Vodafone Spain managed to reveal that the P20 Lite does exist along with some other information, the TENAA listing confirmed everything you need to know about the device. The phone looks slim, has a small notch on top just like the iPhone X and sports a fingerprint sensor in the back.
The leaks revealed three different images of the Huawei P20 Lite. Based on these images, it is easy to confirm that the phone will be available in two different color variants. One of them is the dark blue while the other one is a conventional black variant. The front side of the phone showcased in the images is too dark to find how big the top notch is but it is easy to confirm that it does have a notch.
Every smartphone manufacturer is going towards a bezel-less display. Majority of buyers are now convinced that smartphones of the future should not have a fingerprint sensor on the front and should be completely bezel-less or go with a top notch to integrate the camera.
In terms of specification, the Huawei P20 Lite has a 5.84-inch display with a resolution of 1080 x 2280 pixel. Huawei has opted for a unique aspect ratio of 19:9 which may not be an ideal option for viewing movies and YouTube videos. The front is dominated by a 24-megapixel camera while the rear end sports a dual camera setup featuring a 16MP and 2MP shooter with LED flash.
Based on earlier leaks, it is known that the P20 Lite will run on Android 8.0 out of the box. The phone runs on Kirin 659 processor with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of storage space. The 2,900 mAh battery should be capable of letting users use the phone all-day long before it needs to be recharged.
Huawei has planned a big event on March 27th which is when they are about to make the P20 series models official.
