Huawei P20 Leak Highlights Bezel Less Design and No Physical Volume Controls

Huawei has confirmed that it plans on unveiling the highly anticipated P20 during next month in Paris, France. However, Huawei doesn’t want to give out any details about the smartphone and all that it said about it is that it’s worth the wait. Luckily, we don’t have to wait anymore because the smartphone’s prototype design and full specs sheet have been leaked.

Huawei P20 Design

Even though this is a prototype model, it looks just like a final product. Therefore, we can already see what type of design features to expect from the upcoming smartphones. The feature that stands out the most about Huawei P20 is the sleek design and slim bezels. This make it quite slimmer when compared to the previous model, P10. In addition, it seems like the side edges don’t have any bezels at all.

No Physical Volume Buttons

One of the most interesting things we notice about Huawei P20’s design is that it doesn’t feature any physical buttons for volume control. This is quite unusual since both Samsung and Apple removed the home button from their flagship smartphones but left the audio control ones intact.

Nonetheless, the smartphone will feature physical power button on one side. The way that users will be able to control their audio volume is by swiping up and down on the screen over virtual keys. We should also mention that the smartphone will feature touch indicators above the previously mentioned physical power button.

Dual Speakers and Dual Camera Setup

Another cool feature that this prototype model reveals is the bottom dual speaker grilles. Things get even better than this because the smartphone also features a USB Type-C port which will make up for the lack of the classic headphone jack. In addition, Huawei P20 will feature a dual camera setup that’s mounted on the rear side.
